Description:CDC’s Best Practices Guide for Heart Disease and Stroke aims to inform decision-making by translating a complex body of evidence into strategies that public health practitioners can use to prevent and manage CVD in their communities and practices. Since its launch in 2017, the Guide is the most downloaded resource from CDC’s Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention. In late 2022, the Guide was updated with 10 new evidence-based strategies and revised content for the original 8 strategies included in the 2017 iteration. The second version of the Guide is complemented by the Best Practices Clearinghouse for Heart Disease and Stroke (BPC), a user-friendly web-based application that acts as a one-stop-shop resource center. The BPC’s purpose is to provide users with a centralized and organized location of the best practices and strategies that will aid in improving heart disease and stroke prevention and management. This Coffee Break will provide an overview of the BPC, demonstrate key features of the site, and discuss how end-users can navigate the BPC.
