Description:Relatively little is known about the incidence of the risks facing those who exercise regularly. Clinical reports suggest a variety of musculoskeletal ailments, and several pathophysiologic conditions may result from the various aerobic activities most likely to be pursued by large parts of the U.S. population. But adequate epidemiologic data are scarce. Careful epidemiologic studies are needed to develop incidence information.
