Description:The National Reporting System for Family Planning Services (NRSFPS) is a sample survey conducted on a continuous basis by the Division of Health Care Statistics, National Center for Health Statistics. The NRSFPS, begun in 1972 to collect data on clinic-based visits for family planning services in the United States and some of its territories, encompasses medical family planning visits occurring in clinics. The clinics include those operated by “public health departments, private organizations such as affdiates of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc. or hospitals, and other sites that ovide family planning services.
