Description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(10)H(8)N(2)·2C(8)H(8)O(3), contains two 2-meth-oxy-benzoic acid mol-ecules and one 4,4'-bipyridine mol-ecule. The 4,4'-bipyridine mol-ecule is disordered over two positions in a 1:1 ratio. In the crystal, the 2-meth-oxy-benzoic acid and 4,4'-bipyridine mol-ecules are connected by inter-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds. The dihedral angle between the carboxy group and its attached ring is 26.823 (2)°.
