Description:Looking southwestward, this historic view from 1960, depicts what was the east wing of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), highlighting the former home for the organization’s Multimedia/Television Broadcast facilities, Building 3, located on Clifton Road, in Atlanta, Georgia, which has since been removed, and replaced by more modernized facilities. At that time the modern day CDC was known as the Communicable Disease Center, from 1946 until 1967.
