This paper was presented before a Joint Session of the Epidemiology and Health Officers Sections of the American Public Health Association at the Ninetieth Annual Meeting in Miami Beach, Fla., October 16, 1962.
This study was conducted by members of the Epidemiology Branch, Communicable Disease Center, USPHS, Arctic Research Health Center, USPHS,and Alaskan Department of Health and Welfare.
