Description:This tuberculosis scenario-based assessment (Assessment) was developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Public Health Law Program, Division of Tuberculosis Elimination, and Division of Global Migration and Quarantine, in consultation with the National Tuberculosis Controllers Association. The Assessment is designed as a means to assess understanding, and possibly, sufficiency of state, local, and/or tribal laws to control TB. The Assessment comprises six sets of facts prompting consideration of a variety of legal issues related to TB control, each followed by questions designed to stimulate discussions of the participants’ understanding of relevant legal authorities and identify potential gaps or limitations in the law.
