Production processes involving pentachloroethane and hexachloroethane are described, and their current uses are discussed. Yearly statistics for imports and a list of domestic suppliers are presented. The nature and extent of occupational exposure is discussed briefly. Industries that use pentachloroethane are identified, and a list of trade associations, professional societies, unions, and other organizations that may be involved with pentachloroethane in some manner is provided.
