  Studies on the reproductive effects of vinyl-chloride (75014) (VC) exposure are reviewed. VC related deaths among exposed worker populations are discussed along with the association between VC and cancer. The incidence of fetal deaths and malformations among offspring of exposed workers and laboratory animals is evaluated along with methodological limitations of various studies. Research on the mutagenicity of VC in bacterial cultures and plant systems is reviewed. [Description provided by NIOSH]
