Description:The Final Report documents the findings of the 1992 National Survey of Worksite Health Promotion Activities, sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service (PHS). The survey examined the nature and extent of health promotion and disease prevention activities sponsored by 1,505 private worksites having 50 or more employees. The survey also measured the progress in worksite health promotion since the PHS sponsored the first national worksite survey in 1985, and provided baseline measures for several objectives in Healthy People 2000: National Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Objectives.
