Description:Mathematical formulas are presented for determining the deposition of particles passing through a pipe bend. The aerosol particles are assumed to be monodisperse with a constant charge per particle, and particle concentration is assumed to below. Collection efficiencies are determined for different bend to pipe radius ratios, and the calculated results are compared to published experimental data. [Description provided by NIOSH]
