Description:The Fatality Assessment and Control Evaluation Program in Washington is a surveillance program for work-related deaths. The program sees that falls remain a high risk for deaths in construction. The National Fall Campaign to Prevent Falls brings the state FACE groups together and provides them with opportunities to share information and ideas. It's an exciting time that invigorates them to push for higher levels of safety at work to prevent death from falls. Many of the resources are in Spanish now to serve the growing Spanish-speaking population in construction. States who have not yet participated in campaigns should seek out opportunities to do so and locate resources to help prevent falls in construction.
