Description:Harvey McGill, lead instructor at University of Washington, was involved in a workplace accident early in his career life. A workplace accident buried him alive and caused enough injury, he was unable to work for three years. He learned a lot of lessons during this time. It gave him a calling in his life to help others as a primary prevention advocate for construction safety. The Stand-Downs help him share this information. The main message he wants you to takeaway: Use fall prevention up front, so that you don't just react after the fact.
