Description:Worker exposure to asbestos (1332214) were surveyed on August 12, 1976, at Tuffy Service Center (SIC-7539) in Sharonville, Ohio. The number of employees was not reported. General area air samples contained 0.008 to 0.02 fibers of asbestos greater than 5 microns per cubic centimeter (f/cc), well below the OSHA Standard of 2.0 f/cc. The author notes that a potential does exist for hazardous exposure to asbestos, and recommends strict compliance with OSHA Standards for handling asbestos.
