Description:The Puerto Rico Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan (PRCCC Plan) 2015-2020, is an updated call for action to address the burden of cancer in Puerto Rico developed by the Puerto Rico Cancer Control Coalition. This document represents the second iteration of the PRCCC Plan with revision of priority areas and update of goal, objectives, and strategies in order to increase cancer prevention efforts through risk reduction, screening and early detection of cancer, access to early and adequate treatment for cancer, and improve the care and quality of life of cancer survivors and their caregivers. The plan addresses the implementation of sustainable changes in policy, system and environmental factors and the reduction of cancer inequalities in the island.
