The South Dakota Cancer Plan 2021-2025 is the result of a collaborative planning process undertaken by the South Dakota Department of Health: South Dakota Comprehensive Cancer Control Program (SD CCCP), South Dakota Cancer Coalition, and other cancer prevention and control stakeholders in South Dakota. Stakeholders were involved in the planning process through stakeholder surveys, a best practice review, key informant interviews, a plan advisory committee, and virtual feedback sessions. Reports outlining these efforts and the key fndings can be obtained from the SD CCCP. This is the fourth state cancer plan developed by this diverse statewide group.
