Description:This report describes the demographics of persons tested, newly diagnosed with HIV, and linked to HIV medical care within 30 days in the United States, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands in 2021. Data presented in this report include HIV test-level data reported to CDC through EvaluationWeb as of September 15, 2022 from 60 state and local health departments (HDs) and 150 community-based organizations (CBOs). It is important to note that many CDC-funded jurisdictions continued to experience interruptions in the provision and reporting of HIV testing and related services in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
