Description:The purpose of this report is to describe the utilization of analgesic drugs in office-based ambulatory care. The report combines the 1980 and 1981 findings of the National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey, an annual, sample survey of office- based physicians conducted from 1973 through 198I by the National Center for Health Statistics.
