Description:We used random sampling to estimate the prevalence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection in Verona, Europe. Of 1,515 participants, 2.6% tested positive by serologic assay and 0.7% by reverse transcription PCR. We used latent class analysis to estimate a 3.0% probability of infection and 2.0% death rate.
