Parents, family members, school staff, and other trusted adults can play an important role in helping children and adolescents make sense of what they hear in a way that is honest, accurate, and minimizes anxiety or fear. The National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) joined the CDC EPIC Team on Wednesday, July 22. Dr. Melissa Brymer, Director of the Terrorism and Disaster Program UCLA/Duke University National Center for Child Traumatic Stress discussed possible ways to support young people during COVID-19.
