Description:More than half of states across the country have reported outbreaks of hepatitis A. Since first identified in 2016, more than 30,000 cases with over 60% hospitalizations and at least 300 deaths have been reported.
One dose of single-antigen hepatitis A vaccine has been shown to control outbreaks of hepatitis A — and provides up to 95% seroprotection in healthy adults.
