Description:The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) periodically reviews the recommended immunization schedule for persons aged 0--18 years to ensure that the schedule is current with changes in vaccine formulations and reflects revised recommendations for the use of licensed vaccines, including those newly licensed.
The recommended immunization schedules for persons aged 0–18 years and the catch-up immunization schedule for 2007 have been approved by the Advisory Committeeon Immunization Practices, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the AmericanAcademy of Family Physicians. The standard MMWR footnote format has been modifiedfor publication of this schedule.
