Description:"This report was the second update of a study originally published in 1976 which provided occupational mortality statistics for Washington State for 1950 through 1971. This current report covered 588,090 white male deaths from 1950 through 1989 and 88,071 white female deaths from 1974 trough 1989, exclusive of 134,569 housewives. For each of 219 occupational categories for males and each of 68 occupational categories for females, a cause of death analysis was provided. Information on male and female occupations ranked by proportional mortality ratio within selected causes of death was also provided in tabular form. Commentary was provided for each of the tables. The association between occupational exposure to electric and magnetic fields and leukemia reported in that original analysis was confirmed. Data were provided on microfiche." - NIOSHTIC-2
