Description:For the Month of November 1970
In November 1970, 2,090 isolations of salmonellae were reported from humans, an average of 523 isolations per week (T ab les I, I I , and V -A ). This number represents a decrease of 121 (18.8 percent) from the weekly average of October 1970*and an increase of 53 (11.3 percent) over the weekly average of November 1969.
Reports of 826 nonhuman isolations of salmonellae were received during November 1970 (Tables II, IV, and V-B).
