  In March 1970, L,333 isolations of salmonellae were reported from humans, an average of 334 isolations per week (Tables I, II, and V-A). This number represents an increase of 7 (2.L percent) over the weekly average of February 1970 and an increase of 43 (14.8 percent) over the weekly average of March 1969.
  
  Reports of 1,009 nonhuman isolations of salmonellae were received during March 1970 (Tables II, IV, and V-B).
