Description:On behalf of our colleagues at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Cancer Institute, and the National Public Health Information Coalition, it is our honor to welcome you to the second annual National Conference on Health Communication, Marketing, and Media. More than 450 people attended last year’s inaugural conference, with more than 70 speakers, 60 posters, and 20 breakout sessions—all designed to help advance the fields of health communication, social marketing, and health media. Best of all, the conference gave scientists, professionals, and students a forum in which to share insights, discuss challenges, and identify collaboration opportunities.
During this year’s conference with the theme, Engage & Deliver, we are expanding on last year’s successes by providing more speakers, posters, and breakout sessions. You will learn about innovative health marketing techniques, the most recent research findings and theoretical developments, and new ways to engage partners. You will also learn valuable techniques for applying the most current tools, evaluation protocols, and best practice models to your own research and programs.
