"Setting HIV Prevention Priorities: A Guide for Community Planning Groups" was initially published October 2000 and based on the collective experiences of many people working in and with HIV prevention community planning groups around the country. After 2000, modifications and revisions were made to the Community Planning Guidance and therefore, it was essential to update the prioritization guide. This revised guide also reflects the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Advancing HIV Prevention Initiative.
