Description:Winter temperatures reduced anopheline breeding sufficiently in December to permit discontinuance of larvicidal work in all except 20 areas located in Louisiana, Texas and Puerto Rico. Larvicidal oil and Paris green consumptions in December were only 15% and 38% respectively as much as in September when the larvicidal program was at its height. Minor drainage, clearing and channel cleaning operations continued in 104 areas.
