Description:The CDC-Angola office opened in 2002, and in collaboration with the Angola Ministry of Health (MOH), current activities focus on laboratory and health system strengthening, strategic information, and training of healthcare professionals to reinforce clinical skills which will improve the quality of patient care.
All CDC global HIV and TB activities are implemented by the Division of Global HIV & TB, CDC Center for Global Health, as part of the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
