This historic aerial view depicts the appearance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) geographic presence in 1967.

Still the Atlanta, Georgia headquarters of this Federal organization, many architectural changes have taken place since this by-gone time, involving not only the CDC's physical plan, but the surrounding landscape as well. Emory University, on the far left, or east of the CDC, has also grown leaps and bounds over the past 41 years.
