175,509 were displaced from their homes.
CDC quickly set up a command center and swung into action, working with USAID, World Health Organization, and other partners to address the hurricane’s impact.
CDC dispatched many of its experts to CDC's Haiti office to help respond to the dire situation.
CDC has worked in Haiti since 2002 and remains committed to helping build a stronger, healthier Haiti.
