Description:It is easy to confuse Ebola with malaria and other diseases. The early signs of Ebola are similar to the signs of malaria and can include:
• Headache
• Fever
• Tiredness or feeling tired and weakness
• Red eyes
• Joint and muscle pain
• Nausea, stomach pain
If you think you have Ebola or malaria, don’t wait! Call 117 or your district hotline immediately if you have ANY of these symptoms.
• Early medical treatment can makes it more likely you will survive and can save your family from further exposure to Ebola.
• The later signs of Ebola are vomiting and diarrhea. If you wait until these symptoms appear, you are less likely to survive, and you risk infecting your family and loved ones.
