Description:"There was only a slight Increase In the Incidence of measles for the current week, 22,824 eases, as compared with the previous week (21,491). The number of cases decreased slightly in the New England, East North Central, West North Central, and West South Central, but moderate increases occurred in the remaining divisions. Another increase in the number of cases of infectious hepatitis was reported for the current week. Kentucky reported 164 cases and Georgia 125. Since Weekly Reports of infectious hepatitis had not been made in previous years, it cannot be assumed that the increasing numbers of cases reported since January 1, 1952 represents a real increase in incidence.". - p. 1
