"There was a slight decrease in the incidence of measles for the current week as compared with the previous week. A decrease in the number of cases occurred in the New England, Middle Atlantic, South Atlantic, and West South Central States and moderate increases in the remaining groups of States. Hawaii also reported fewer cases than for the previous week. A total of 528 cases of infectious hepatitis was reported as compared with 251 for the previous week. States reporting 40 or more cases were Alabama with 92, Ohio 63, Tennessee 54, Georgia 47, and Kentucky 42." - p. 1
