  More than 60% of the 21.5 million children who did not receive one dose of measles vaccine in 2013 came from only 6 countries:
  
  India: 6.4M | Nigeria: 2.7M | Pakistan: 1.7M | Ethiopia: 1.1M | Indonesia: 0.7M | DR Congo: 0.7M
  
  Most deaths due to measles occur in developing countries.
  
  70% of measles deaths in 2013 were in the 6 countries listed above.
  
  Failure to vaccinate children against measles puts them at serious risk of severe health complications, such as pneumonia, diarrhea, brain damage, blindness.
  
  It costs about $1 to vaccinate a child against both measles and rubella at the same time in most low-income countries.
