Description:Training resource addressing the implementation and integration of artificial intelligence in Field Epidemiology Training Programs (FETPs). ; Artificial intelligence (AI) has rapidly advanced in the past year and is transforming how we access, process, and apply information. Training programs in field epidemiology are also affected by and can benefit from this transformation; however, doing so responsibly requires the continuous evaluation of AI capabilities and how they fit within field epidemiology training program (FETP) activities. This is the first draft of a living document that seeks to (1) advise how and when AI can be used during competency-based FETPs, and (2) outline the domains of AI content FETPs might consider including in their training curricula. ; The primary audience of this document are FETP staff and trainees, as well as public health agencies that house FETPs.
