Description:There were three major objectives underlying this research. 1. To obtain estimates of the amount of underreporting of hospital episodes in household interviews in order to provide a rough approximation to underreporting in the Unsensational Health Survey. 2. To analyze the types of hospitalizations which were underreported and to investigate some of the factors relating to underreporting. 3. To study some response errors and to explore factors associated with these errors for hospitalizations which were reported.
