  Heart disease death rates can differ considerably within a congressional district. These maps highlight the patterns in county−level heart disease death rates within this congressional district.
  
  The map for Congressional District 1 in Iowa shows that heart disease death rates (ages 35+, 2021 - 2023) for counties (or partial counties) in the district range from 273 - 435 per 100,000. For Iowa and the United States, heart disease death rates are 359 and 374 per 100,000, respectively. There are a total of 17 Federally Qualified Health Centers in District 1.
