• Description:
  The enhanced Gonococcal Isolate Surveillance Project (eGISP) was established in 2018 to monitor trends in antimicrobial susceptibility patterns of Neisseria gonorrhoeae strains in the United States to monitor trends in gonococcal susceptibility patterns in extragenital infections and to evaluate if gonococcal susceptibility patterns vary between men and women. The 2023 eGISP National Profile highlights the overall demographic and antimicrobial susceptibility testing data for N. gonorrhoeae isolates submitted by all eGISP sites in 2023.
