Description:The purpose of the CDC Surveillance Summaries is to make available the most current information on conditions of public health interest for which CDC has major responsibility. The CDC Surveillance Summaries are published quarterly and provide detailed analysis of the most current available data obtained for CDC surveillance programs. These reports complement other data published by CDC in the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR), the MMWR Annual Summary. and various disease-surveillance reports. This volume contains epidemiologic information derived from surveillance forms, special investigations, and other sources of information collected at the state and national levels focusing on temporal trends in the incidence of malformation, dengue, plague, and occupational hazards in the United States.
