  Aggregate Training for the Safety Impaired covers basic safety at a surface aggregate operation. The video is divided into 14 clips with a summary of the main safety point at the end of each clip. The entire video is tied together by the story two new miners, Ted and Slick (a crash test dummy), who don't pay attention to their mine safety training and get into all sorts of dangerous situations. The recurring theme of the viedo is Ted talks Slick into dangerous acts and Slick gets more and more beat up as the video progresses. The video uses actual miners on site to teach each point, which adds authenticity and credibility to the video. After being fired from five mines in five days, Ted and Slick decide that surface mining may not be for them and decide to take their new knowledge underground. [Description provided by NIOSH]
