Description:This specialty course is designed for personnel involved in evaluating "hot environments." The basic concepts of the physiology of heat, the effect of heat on health and performance, and the types of physiological measurements and environmental controls are presented in detail. Lectures will be augmented by laboratory exercises and a field trip. The training course manual has been specially prepared for the trainees attending the course and should not be included in reading lists of periodicals as generally available.
