Description:"The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Chlamydia Prevalence Monitoring Project is a collaborative effort among the Regional Infertility Prevention Projects, STD project areas, state epidemiologists and public health laboratory directors, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the Indian Health Service (IHS). The purpose of the project is to monitor the prevalence of genital Chlamydia trachomatis infections among women screened for this infection in the United States through publicly-funded programs.
