  Fifty analytical methods have been reviewed prior to publication in a manual of analytical methods. The methods cover analysis of gases in blood and in air; metals in blood, in urine and in air; vapors, mists and solids in air; and pentachlorophenol (87865) in urine. The methods are intended for use in industrial hygiene applications in working environments and are adapted for personal sampling. The technical reviews ensure that the technical content of each method is free from error and that all the information necessary for performance of the sampling and analysis is included. The editorial reviews ensure that the presentation is clear and unambiguous, with the correct terminology and nomenclature. [Description provided by NIOSH]
