Description:Continuous recording tests are made of carbon monoxide concentrations from automotive and diesel exhausts in a room at an airport, using vehicles with idling motors at various places around the airport, to determine the effectiveness of an 8-foot barrier wall and other measures in reducing air contamination. Findings indicate the wall to be insufficient protection, and recommendations are made for relocation of fresh air vents. [Description provided by NIOSH]
