Description:General industrial hygiene survey conducted in 28 sections of the Government Printing Office to assess the health aspects of the working environment. The results indicate that although a number of potentially hazardous materials are used, the existing controls, procedures and awareness provide a healthful work environment for most of the areas surveyed. Recommendations are made for the control and detection of lead poisoning, noise control, ventilation and air sampling. [Description provided by NIOSH]
