Description:A method used for collection and analysis of air samples of 2- aminopyridine (504290) is validated. Information is presented on analysis, sampling and analysis, storage stability, breakthrough tests, discussion of the methodology, comparison by an independent method, and precision and accuracy. Attachments include information on a vapor generation system and generation of known humidity test atmospheres. Analysis of 18 samples spiked with the appropriate amounts of 2-aminopyridine to represent 12 liter air samples were carried out. In addition, 18 samples collected from dynamically generated test atmospheres were analyzed. [Description provided by NIOSH]
