Description:The backup data report is given for validating the method for determining zinc-oxide (1314132) fume in the air. Samples were analyzed regarding the suitability of silver membrane filters and DM- 800 filters for collection and analysis, the collection efficiency on 37 millimeter DM-800 filters, the storage stability, the effect of parlodion coating, and the precision and accuracy. The coefficient of variation is 0.1039. Attachments include a description of dust atmosphere generation apparatus, including a photograph and diagram, and a summary of statistical terms and formulae.
