  This CD-ROM has been superseded and the new version can be found here. This compact disc (CD) contains a selection of databases and documents that are available on the NIOSH website (https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/). In addition, this CD contains the 1996 North American Emergency Response Guidebook, which is available on the Department of Transportation website (http://hazmat.dot.gov/). The major advantage of accessing the files on this CD is that an Internet connection is not needed, and the software applications required for this CD are the same as those commonly used for Internet access. Databases include Immediately Dangerous to Life and Health Concentrations; International Chemical Safety Cards; NIOSH Certified Equipment List; NIOSH Manual of Analytical Methods; NIOSH Pocket Guide to Chemical Hazards; OSHA Sampling and Analytical Methods; Recommendations for Chemical Protective Clothing; Specific Medical Tests Published for OSHA Regulated Substances; Toxicologic Review of Selected Chemicals; and 2000 Emergency Response Guidebook.
