  Personal air sampling for asbestos (1332214) dust was conducted by the United States Public Health Service at the National Gypsum Company (SIC-3275) in New Orleans, Louisiana, on January 19 and 20, 1970. Samples contained up to 7.6 fibers greater than 5 microns length per milliliter near one asbestos mixing operation. The author recommends additional sampling in the mixing operations area to determine if corrective industrial hygiene measures are warranted. Description provided by NIOSH
